Herdade da Maroteira Dez Tostões 2022 White

Herdade da Maroteira is one of the agricultural properties belonging to one of the Anglo-Portuguese families established in the Alentejo Region, Portugal, for more than five generations.

Located at south of Serra D’Ossa, north of Évora, Herdade da Maroteira is a 540ha property dedicated to viticulture and various other agricultural activities such as cork, livestock and some olives.

Vinification
Grape bunches are handpicked into 20 kg boxes and direct pressed to produce a clear must which is clarified by natural settling. Alcoholic fermentaion occurs at 12ºC, in 100% stainless steel vats. Aged in French and American oak barrels.

Climate: Mediterranean, hot days with cold nights.
